Privacy Policy
Effective August 31, 2026. This replaces the January 3, 2023 policy, which was written from a generic template and described data practices Japa+ has never had.
The short version is the whole version
Japa+ is a mantra counter. It is built so that your data never reaches us — there is nothing to collect, so we collect nothing.
- No accounts. There is nothing to sign up for or log in to.
- No analytics, no ads, no tracking. The app contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking code of any kind.
- Your counts stay on your device. Mantras, rounds, and settings are stored only on your phone (or, in the web version, in your browser's local storage). They are never transmitted anywhere.
- Nothing is shared or sold — we never receive your data in the first place.
The web version's hosting
japaplus.app is served by GitHub Pages. Like any web host, GitHub may keep standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security and operations; see GitHub's privacy statement. We do not receive or use those logs.
Children
Japa+ collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted here with an updated effective date.
